What does a DJ in Dubai cost for my event?
Every quote is custom. Three factors set the price: set length (2 to 8 hours), gear needed (nothing if the venue already has a proper system, which is usual in hotels and beach clubs; villas and outdoor sites often need a full setup) and venue logistics (access, permits, curfew, load-in windows). Send the date, the venue or area and how many guests, and you get a concrete figure rather than a range.
What is included in the DJ service in Dubai?
Six things come as standard: a preparation call to build the selection, the set prepared before the day, setup and sound check, the full set with the transitions looked after, coordination with the other suppliers on the day, and pack-down. If gear is needed it is quoted separately, and it is stated plainly what and why.
What music styles do you play in Dubai?
House in all its variants, deep, classic, Latin, Afro, with excursions into disco, soul or techno depending on the hour and the crowd. It is not a generalist repertoire: if you want chart hits from start to finish I am the wrong person, and it is better to know that beforehand.
How do you choose a DJ in Dubai?
Not by years of experience alone. Three things worth checking before you sign. First: whether they ask about the venue, the curfew and the installed system, or only about the date. Second: whether there is a recorded set you can actually listen to. Third: what happens if a flight is delayed or gear fails, and whether that answer is in writing.
Which areas of Dubai and the UAE do you cover?
Dubai in full: Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR, Downtown, Business Bay, DIFC, Bluewaters, Jumeirah, Al Barsha and the desert venues towards Al Qudra. Abu Dhabi and the northern Emirates depend on the finish time and travel. Further afield is looked at case by case and well in advance.
Do you bring your own DJ gear and sound system in Dubai?
Yes, I always arrive with my own setup: mixer, headphones and full cabling. Room sound depends on the venue. Hotels and beach clubs usually have what is needed. For villas, rooftops and outdoor sites, send me the details of the space and I will tell you straight what it takes, instead of selling you speakers by default.
How far in advance should you book a DJ in Dubai?
The outdoor season runs from October to April, and that is when the diary fills. For a date in that window, 4 to 9 months ahead is ideal, and the corporate calendar is often set even earlier. Summer dates have far more room.
Do you take requests from guests?
Of course, it is part of the work and not an add-on. Preparation includes a yes list and a no list, and during the night the requests that fit are worked in without breaking the thread. What does not work is switching style every three tracks, and that is said upfront.
Do you also play smaller private parties in Dubai?
Yes, from a villa dinner with 30 guests to a large reception. With small groups the job is more reading than power: the volume has to let people talk and still hold the room.
Which languages can you announce in?
English first, with German and basic Arabic where it helps. Announcements stay understated; at most private and corporate events the fewer the better.
Can you issue an invoice?
Yes, on request. I issue a proper invoice for private clients and companies alike, with whatever details your accounting or procurement needs.
Do you play Dubai brunch parties?
Yes. Weekend brunches are their own format in Dubai and I play them regularly as a daytime set: lounge and deep house early on, more energy as the room fills. Venues usually have a working sound system, so a DJ-only booking is enough; if not, sound and lighting are organised with partner suppliers and quoted separately. Slots run 2 to 8 hours.
Do you play Arabic music in Dubai?
Yes, where it fits the room. Arabic house and remixed classics work well at mixed private events and often carry the moment local guests have been waiting for. It stays woven into the set rather than played as a separate block. If you would rather keep the night purely international, that is equally fine: tell me the mix you want and the set is prepared that way.
How long does a DJ set last?
Every booking runs 2 to 8 hours, whether it is a pool session, a brunch, a villa party or a corporate evening with breaks around the speeches. The length is agreed in advance, extra hours included, rather than negotiated at two in the morning.
Can I hear a mix before booking?
Yes. Released tracks are linked on this page and are also available on Spotify, Apple Music and Beatport. Full recorded sets are not published here: tell me the occasion and I will send you the recording that comes nearest to it.
Do you play at weddings in Dubai?
Yes, at VIP weddings with an open format: villas, hotel ballrooms and terraces across the city. The reception, the dinner and the party are prepared separately, and the moments that matter are agreed in advance with you and your planner.
Do you play classic weddings with a host and karaoke?
No. I work as a house DJ, not as a wedding host: no games, no karaoke and none of the usual banquet repertoire. If that is what the day needs, other colleagues are the better fit.
